Closed Cell

G12 Churches are cell-based churches, that is, we find growth and strength in small groups. In G12 we generally have two kinds of cells: (1) The Closed Cell and (2) the Open Cell.

The purpose of the Closed Cell is Discipleship, or the making of disciples.  Closed cells are homogeneous. All members. which are limited to 12 only, are of the same sex with their cell leader.  They meet once a week for 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Their meeting consists of the following:

Motivating
The Closed Cell begins with the Word of God as shared by the Cell Leader or, when they are ready, the Cell Members.  We usually share our own personal devotional with our cell.

Monitoring
The Cell Leader checks the following of each cell member
1. Sunday Service Attendance/Sermon Notes/Tithing
2. Daily Devotions
3. Cell Attendance
4. PEPSOL Attendance
5. Soul Winning (church invites)

Mentoring
The Cell Leader advises, counsels, teaches his/her cell members regarding their Journey as Christians, their discipleship process, their personal life, their cells, their soul-winning endeavors, their family, their love life, etc., etc.

Meeting
The cell is a team that accomplishes goals for Christ.  Led by the Cell Leader (Team Leader) each Closed Cell plans what to do to help their cell grow, become fruitful and multiply.

Ministering
This is where the Cell Leader prays for his/her cell members.
